Transport
There is a regular bus service, via Roseisle, between Forres (8 miles) and Elgin (6
miles). Buses leave from Elgin bus station to most local towns and villages, as well as
longer distance buses to Inverness and Aberdeen.
Elgin has a railway station on the
line from Inverness to Aberdeen, providing connections to the South, and via Inverness to
the North and West including the scenic trip from Inverness to Kyle.
The nearest public airports are at Inverness (40 mins by car) and Aberdeen (70 mins by
car), with frequent flights to most main English cities, including an Easyjet service to Luton
and Gatwick. Car hire is easily available either at the airports or locally in Elgin.

How to find us
Coming
from Elgin, take the A96 west for approximately 2 miles then turn right (north)
on to the B9013 to Burghead and continue on this road for several miles. After passing the
“College of Roseisle” and 50 mph speed limit signs, turn left at the crossroads
with the road signposted to Kinloss. Westmuir is the second house on the right when you
turn on to this road, immediately before the trees.
Coming
from Forres, leave the A96 at the roundabout at the east end of the town, taking
the road signposted for Kinloss and Findhorn. Drive straight through Kinloss (don’t
turn left to Findhorn). Continue on this road until you cross a railway line and pass a
Maltings on the right. The village is a further mile along this road (don’t turn left
to Burghead). Westmuir is the first house on the left after you pass the “College of Roseisle”
and 30 mph speed limit signs, immediately after the trees and before the crossroads.
